YARD MANAGER REQUIRED FULL TIME (Fixed Term Funded Contract)
Beechley Stables RDA in Liverpool Merseyside is looking for a Yard Manager to join the Beechley Team.
The successful candidate will be highly motivated, well organised with excellent communication skills. They will have at least a BHSQ Level 2 Coaching or equivalent and a minimum of 2 years practical experience in yard management. They will be responsible for the care of Beechley Stables’ six ponies and horses (capacity for 8), associated tack, land arena and equipment.
They will work as a member of the management team who will assist in developing, maintaining and supervising a volunteer training programme to meet the objectives of Beechley Stables RDA - the provision of therapeutic riding and horse care activities for disabled children and adults. The manager will also be responsible for the training and supervision of Further Education students seeking work placement hours on Equine and Animal Care courses and University veterinary students seeking EMS Placement Hours.
The Yard Manager will also deliver non-RDA riding sessions as part of business income together and assist with fundraising activities.
