Groups celebrate fantastic results at RDA National Championships 2024!
Participants from across the UK gathered at Hartpury College, in Gloucestershire, for the RDA National Championships which was held from 12 - 14 July. The RDA National Championships is the biggest event of its kind and participants compete at Hartpury University and College's world-renowned facilities taking part in classes ranging from dressage, showjumping or showing to vaulting and carriage driving (and more!). 2024 was also RDA's 55th anniversary and to celebrate additional activities were run over the weekend.
Two groups from the NW RDA Region travelled to Hartpury, East Liverpool RDA and Isle of Man RDA. Five riders from East Liverpool were competing and three from the Isle of Man RDA. The Isle of Man RDA's riders were competing on horses kindly loaned to them for the competition.
Competing at the Championships is a massive achievement and the riders achieved fantastic scores. Well done to everyone! A special mention to Cerys (East Liverpool RDA) who won her Countryside Challenge Class riding Rio! In addition, Amelie (East Liverpool RDA) and Cara (Isle of Man RDA) both gained third places in their respective Countryside Challenge Classes.
