With less than two months to go until our RDA North West Regional Show, on 11 May 2025, RDA Groups’ preparations are already well underway.  As part of these preparations, riders from Mid Cheshire Group and Nantwich & District RDA shared a fun Countryside Challenge Day together at Allostock Hall where Mid Cheshire Group are based.

Countryside Challenge Classes are seen at both the Regional RDA Shows and the RDA National Championships and it involves riding a course including different elements that the rider has to navigate carefully, with different challenges at each (such as posting a letter or opening a gate).  It is invaluable for riders to have a chance to practice before the Regional Show.

The day was a great success and everyone enjoyed plentiful cakes, a tombola, and the horses were very smart and were well behaved.  A big thank you to everyone who had worked so hard to ensure the day was a success and to Para Dressage Rider, Katie Reilly, who presented the prizes.
