RDA launches flagship magazine for disability equestrianism
New publication will ‘inform and inspire’ about disability sport. Riding for the Disabled Association is launching a new magazine – available by free subscription – designed to inform and inspire its readership about the work of RDA UK; disability sport and equestrianism. Published by Matrix Print Consultants Limited, RDA Magazine will launch in January as a quarterly publication – replacing the charity’s existing RDA News.
With a new editor, new design and new online subscription model, RDA is aiming to reach more of its riders and carriage drivers, volunteers and supporters, and anyone with an interest in the charity and its activities.
“We are really excited to be working with Matrix and our new editor, Ffion Llwyd-Jones,” said Communications Manager for RDA UK, Caroline Ward. “The design is fresh and engaging, and Ffion brings a wealth of equestrian and journalistic experience to the role. We are really lucky to have her on board – as well as the rest of the team at Matrix, who have created an engaging and aspirational publication that we hope our existing and new readers will enjoy.”
“I am delighted to be working on RDA Magazine,” said new editor, Ffion. “It’s a wonderful opportunity, working with a great team, to create a new magazine that really showcases how the RDA uses a combination of education, therapy and fun to improve the lives of thousands of people.”
